If you need to provide X10 control for devices that need contact closure switching, this is the module for you. In the momentary mode, the contacts close for about 2 seconds. In the continuous mode, the contacts close when the
module receives an ON signal and open when it receives an OFF or ALL OFF signal. The Universal Module also has a built-in beeper that can be used in conjunction with the switching or independently. The module emits 4 beeps when
set to Sounder or Sounder and Relay and it receives an ON signal. It is a louder, different-sounding alternative to the Chime Module.
