IR7243 Infra-Red and RF to X10 Converter

Can receive, by RF and transmit X10, on all 256 addresses (when set to House Code P) Makes your Pronto/RC5000, control all 256 X10 addresses Manual on/off/dim/bright control of 1-4, and 5-8 Address on a single house code That's right, this new IR7243W is both an X10 RF receiver and an X10 infra-red receiver, and it is also compatible with the Philips Pronto, allowing the Pronto to control all 256 X10 addresses by infra-red! Use an X10 compatible RF transmitter with this unit. The IR7243W acts as an X10 gateway, translating X10 RF commands into X10 mains commands. When set to House Code P the IR7243W will send and receive on all 256 X10 addresses. If you prefer, you can set the unit to any other House Code and then it will only respond to that House Code. Use with an X10 infra-red remote to allow control of one House Code. Use with a Philips Pronto and when set to House Code P the unit will control all 256 X10 addresses when commanded by infra-red. The keypad on top of the console provides ON/OFF, DIM/BRIGHT, ALL LIGHTS ON, ALL UNITS OFF, OFF manual control of up to 8 X10 devices. The unit can get interference from flourescent lights and/or "energy saving" lights and therefore should not be placed in a room where these are used.
