With the provided software, you can pre-programme the remote to launch directly up to 15 favourite applications. Great for quick access to information when you are on the telephone or just avoiding complicated launch sequences. Your PC can be as easy to use as your electronic organiser.
The Universal IR/RF mouse-remote control (JR20) contains a library of codes to match most of the TV, VCR, cable, and SAT components currently available. This lets you set up the remote to control most of your A/V products.
Room-to-Room Control:
With the RF feature, the remote can be used together with X-10’s 2.4 GHz Video Sender to allow A/V components such as a SAT to be controlled from any room in the home.
X-10 Home Automation:
The remote includes Home Automation when used in conjunction with the TM12 wireless transceiver, or any X-10 security system console, allowing it to be used to switch and dim lighting in a home theater application for example. The JR20 sends wireless RF signals to the TM12 Transceiver, which then retransmits these signals over existing house wiring to control lights and appliances connected to X-10 Modules.
