| CCT 200 Advanced Video Motion Detector
Once connected, the video motion detector works using an on-screen display consisting of four white rectangles/markers. These markets can be positioned anywhere across your monitor display and can be adjusted in size to cover larger or smaller areas. Once positioned, there is the option to keep these markers visible on the display or to hide them.
If there is any movement or change in light level in the area covered by these markers, the unit will go into alarm condition. The alarm condition can be recognised by an audible warning which may be switched off. Alternatively, the unit has both normally open and normally close contacts which can be used to trigger other equipment (e.g. a VCR) when the unit goes into alarm status.
The markets can be adjusted in size and position to protect almost any area shown on your CCTV monitor picture.
As soon as the Black Passes through the white markers, the system will go into alarm condition. The red car on the road is completely ignored. This level of positioned is difficult to achieve with a PIR.
