| The CCT 205 is a great product to use with a covert camera system. It works by looking at movement within the camera's video signal and therefore can trigger event-only recordings without using a PIR.
To connect the CCT 205, the camera's video signal must pass through the unit using the video in and out BNC sockets. Simply power the unit using the supplied 9-12 volt power supply and it's ready to detect changes in the camera's picture.
When the CCT 205 detects movement, e.g. someone walking into a room, it causes a pair of relay contacts controls. These contacts can be used to trigger a time lapse VCR to record the event. Alternatively, to record events on a standard domestic and easier, you will need to use the video control module, code CCT 887.
Its low-cost, contacts size and good performance makes the CCT 205 a must for any installation of covert CCTV cameras, opening and endless possibilities for simple and effective event only recordings.
